TERMS OF AGREEMENT FOR
HANDS TO HOLD RESOURCE CENTER
- The prospective adoptive parent or parents (referred to as adoptive family/clients thru out this agreement) understand that Hands to Hold Resource Center is not a licensed child placing agency, an attorney who provides legal advice or places children for adoption, or a facilitator that facilitates the match process or offers a matching service between an expectant/birth parent and adoptive families. Nor does Hands to Hold Resource Center advertise, counsel, solicit, have contact with or the ability to influence any decisions of an expectant/birth parents either directly or indirectly.
- The adoptive family/clients understand that Hands to Hold Resource Centers has a service fee of $2,500 which is due upon the execution of a contract acceptance with an entity for which Hands to Hold Resource Center was instrumental in providing education, consultation, assistance, guidance, advocacy and support on behalf of the client(s). The service fee is non-refundable as services are provided up front and are considered rendered upon the execution. The fee paid to Hands to Hold Resource Center will roll over in the event of a disruption thru no fault of the adoptive family/clients. The service fee covers but is not limited to providing consulting, advocacy, education, guidance, profile assistance, printing/binding and shipping of profiles, coordinating and assisting adoptive family/clients in their marketing and networking efforts to establish a relationship with an agency, attorney and/or facilitator.
- The adoptive family/clients understand that Hands to Hold Resource Center does not collect a service fee up front. However, if the adoptive family/clients back out/withdrawal after asking for assistance in marketing their profile and their profile has been sent to the entity, Hands to Hold Resource Center will close the adoptive family/clients registration file and no longer provide support. The file can only be re-activated with a non-refundable commitment fee of $100. The adoptive family/clients may continue to pass/decline their profile from the marketing efforts at any time and as often as they elect to do so. But once a commitment from the adoptive family/clients has been made to include their profile in our marketing efforts we ask that the adoptive family/clients be fully committed both financially and emotionally. Otherwise this policy will apply.
- The adoptive family/clients understand that Hands to Hold Resource Center has established a business relationship with many agencies, attorneys and facilitators across the United States through our Out Reach Provider services. Hands to Hold Resource Center does not and will not have any direct or indirect contact with the expectant/birth parent the adoption entities have as clients.
- The adoptive family/clients understand that the design of Hands to Hold Resource Center is to provide them with additional resources and support that they may need as they work towards a successful adoption plan by providing services such as consulting, education, support, advocacy, guidance, profile assistance, and marketing opportunities. This is not inclusive of our service to our adoptive family/clients; it is only shared as an example. Each client will have different varying levels of needed assistance.
- Hands to Hold Resource Center can not and does not provide legal advice. Please do not ask. We do recommend that an adoptive family/client consult with legal counsel.
- Hands to Hold Resource Center will work very hard to ensure the confidential information of our adoptive family/clients and that of our business relationships. The adoptive family/clients information will only be released to the requesting entity upon approval from the adoptive family/clients. If the adoptive family/clients do not provide their approval to release their registration information, that information will not be released to an entity.
- Hands to Hold Resource Center is not responsible for any omissions, errors or changes in the information provided to Hands to Hold Resource Center through their Out Reach Provider support services provided to contacting entities. Hands to Hold Resource Center will make every effort in good faith to ensure the information provided to us from those entities seeking out reach provider support is correct and free of errors to the best of our ability. The adoptive family/clients agree to hold Hands to Hold Resource Center harmless for any and all liabilities associated with the information received from our out reach support services.
- Hands to Hold Resource Center’s Limitation of Liability is limited to and shall not exceed the actual service fee paid. Hands to Hold Resource Center will not be held liable for any financial loss, emotion distress or physical damage resulting from an adoptive family/clients contract agreement with a child placing entity. We strongly recommend that the adoptive family/clients read, understand and ask questions about any and each contract they receive from an entity before agreeing and signing a binding contract agreement. We suggest an adoptive family consult legal counsel with any questions.
- Hands to Hold Resource Center is entitled to monetary relief upon a breach of these Terms of Agreement. Hands to Hold Resource Center reserves the right to seek resolution through any resource for any unpaid service fee accounts.
- Hands to Hold Resource Center LLC is a privately-owned and operated business operating within the guidelines of the governing State of Oklahoma. We are registered with the Secretary of the State to conduct business within the our state.
- Hands to Hold Resource Center LLC is a member of the Better Business Bureau.
