• Hands to Hold Resource Center IS a Limited Liability Company registered with the Secretary of the State of Oklahoma. It has met and completed all of the state and local requirements that allows our company to conduct business in our state of origin.
• Hands to Hold Resource Center is an Accredited Business with the Better Business Bureau.
• Hands to Hold Resource Center’s Limitation of Liability IS limited too and shall not exceed the actual service fee paid. Hands to Hold Resource Center will not be held liable for any financial loss, emotion distress or physical damage resulting from an adoptive family/clients contract agreement with a child placing entity. We suggest an adoptive family consult legal counsel with any questions.
• Hands to Hold Resource Center provides Consulting, Education, Guidance, Support and Advocacy to adoptive families. Hands to Hold Resource Center DOES Not operate as a facilitator. The primary purpose of an adoption facilitator is to provide a “matching” service. Facilitators only purpose of business is to engage in a “matching” of expectant/birth parents with adoptive families. Hands to Hold Resource Center DOES NOT offer a "Matching Service".
• Hands to Hold Resource Center is an Out Reach Provider to child placing entities across the United States. Only those entities that we have a business relationship with are involved directly with the expectant/birth parents and with their decision process. Our relationship is with staff members of the entity and at no point do we have any contact with the expectant/birth parent(s). Hands to Hold Resource Center will not have any influence on the staff or the expectant/birth parent(s) in their selection process. Hands to Hold Resource Center will not have any control over the entities process, fees, policies and/or requirements.
• Hands to Hold Resource Center DOES NOT advertise for expectant/birth parent(s). We do not work directly or indirectly with an expectant/birth parent(s).
• Hands to Hold Resource Center DOES NOT provide legal advice so please do not ask. We do encourage prospective adoptive family/clients to seek legal advice from a professional knowledgeable in adoption within their state and the state of birth. Recommendation would be to seek legal advice from a Quad A Attorney (American Academy of Adoption Attorney's - www.adoptionattorneys.com)
• Hands to Hold Resource Center IS designed to provide adoptive family/clients with additional resources and support that they may need as they work towards a successful adoption plan by providing services such as consulting, education, support, guidance, advocacy, profile assistance and feedback, and additional marketing avenues. This is not inclusive of our service to our adoptive family/clients; it is only shared as examples of our commitment to the families who allow us to assist in their journey. Hands to Hold Resource Center DOES NOT guarantee that our services provided will lead to a successful adoption.
• Hands to Hold Resource Center will only RELEASE an adoptive family/clients confidential information with their permission after we have consulted with them and provided them with the information we have received as part of our Out Reach services. Hands to Hold Resource Center will not have any influence on the outcome.
• Hands to Hold Resource Center IS NOT responsible for any actions that may result between the adoptive family/clients, and an entity. We WILL NOT attempt to resolve issues between parties. We are not a mediator nor do we provide mediation services. We can provide support and education on behalf of our adoptive family/clients as a way to resolve some issues.
• Hands to Hold Resource Center is not responsible for any omissions, errors or changes in the information provided to Hands to Hold Resource Center through our Out Reach Provider support services provided to contacting entities. Hands to Hold Resource Center will make every effort in good faith to ensure the information provided to us from those entities seeking out reach support is correct and free of errors to the best of our ability. The adoptive family/clients agree to hold Hands to Hold Resource Center harmless for any and all liabilities associated with the information received from our out reach support services.
• Hands to Hold Resource Center DOES NOT have the authority or control over the fee structure that contacting entities have established for their services through our out reach support services. Each entity has their own set guidelines that govern their operation.
• Hands to Hold Resource Center will not be held liable for any financial loss, emotion distress or physical damage resulting from a adoptive family/clients contract agreement with a child placing entity. We strongly recommend that adoptive family/clients read, understand and ask questions about any and each contract they receive from an entity before agreeing and signing a binding contract agreement. We suggest an adoptive family consult legal counsel with any questions.
• Hands to Hold Resource Center DOES NOT discriminate against a adoptive family/clients. However we do reserve the right to decline any adoptive family/clients registration.
• Entities that seek our out reach resource provider support services will have their own policies, fee and procedures for which we will have no control over. Hands to Hold Resource Center must abide by the governing requirements for each entity.
