Who we are : We are a referral base structured business whose consulting, marketing and network service provides adoption assistance to prospective adoptive families and adoption entities. We are NOT a licensed child placing agency. We are NOT a facilitator. We do NOT work directly with expectant/birth parent(s) or advertise for expectant/birth parent(s). All available opportunities (situations) listed on our website have been shared with us by adoption entities with whom are looking for prospective adoptive families for the expectant/birth parent(s) they have as clients. The entities are assisting the expectant/birth parent(s) in creating an adoption plan for the child(ren) they are unable to parent. The opportunities (situations) are received from licensed agencies, attorney's or facilitator's authorized to place children for adoption in accordance to the laws and regulations of their state. We CAN NOT and DO NOT provide legal advice. The adoption journey is YOUR adoption journey, only you know what feels right for you and your family. What we do: Hands to Hold Referral is a consulting, marketing and network base business structure that provides the expanded ability for agencies, attorney's and/or facilitators working with expectant/birth parent(s) placing children for adoption to reach a broader range of prospective adoptive parent(s). There are times when an agency, attorney or facilitator may have an expectant/birth parent(s) who is searching for a certain criteria in an adoptive parent(s) and the entity may not have a prospective adoptive family registered with them with whom matches the expectant/birth parent(s) request. At times they may simply have more expectant/birth parent(s) looking for homes for their children than they have registered prospective adoptive parent(s). The agency may also have a child, who for various reasons requires a more aggressive search (older child, nationality, drugs, special needs, medically fragile, due any day....). In an effort to secure a home for each and every child when these events occur entities reach out for additional assistance from an outside business source to assist them with their commitment to ensure every child has a place to call home. Our service provides the entity with the marketing/networking and administrative needs to reach their goal. For a prospective adoptive family we provide an additional resource for which to search for their forever child(ren). Registration with Hands to Hold is free. We provide all of the consulting, marketing and networking for the prospective family at no up front cost. We work on your behalf with the entities searching for prospective adoptive families for the expectant/birth parent(s) they have as clients. The only time a fee is associated with our service for our consulting, advertising, marketing and networking efforts on your behalf is if we successfully find a opportunity (situations) for which you accept and enter into a contract agreement with the entity for which we have referred you to. Our consulting, marketing and network fee is $1,500 per opportunity and is due upon a contract agreement with an entity for which the family has been referred. The completed registration can either be faxed or emailed (copy & paste, then email) or use our fill-in the blank option. There is never any fees due to us up front. Hands to Hold does not discriminate but it does reserve the right to decline a registration. The average adoption situation for which Hands to Hold assist with range between $13,000 and $45,000. It would be unlikely that Hands to Hold would have the ability to assist adoptive families with budgets less than $13,000. We encourage all families to remain pro-active in their adoption journey. Our Process: Our process begins when a child placing agency, attorney or facilitator contacts us for assistance. We query our database of any prospective adoptive parent or parents who have registered with us to determine if we have any registrants that match the criteria the expectant/birth parent(s) are requesting. We may also post the situation on our website if we do not have enough registrants to present to the expectant/birth parent(s). We will contact each registrant either by email or phone which ever has been listed as the primary contact preference on their registration. We will provide each registrant with all the information the contacting entity has provided to us regarding the opportunity. The registrant can request their information be released to the contacting entity for consideration to the expectant/birth parent(s) or you can reject the adoption opportunity(situation). This is your choice and does not mean we will not contact you again. We will continue to contact you regarding available opportunities until you request your registration be withdrawn. If you request your information to be released for consideration it will be forwarded to the entity who has requested assistance and we will notify you of who will be contacting you directly to discuss the opportunity with you in greater detail. Please know that you can still decline the opportunity when the contacting entity contacts you without any fee due to Hands to Hold. However, you can not decline the opportunity then contact the entity directly as they also have a obligation to Hands to Hold and they will refer you back to us. Adoptive families who are referred to an entity for a specific situation/opportunity and are not selected by the expectant/birth parent(s) that they were initially referred for BUT DO accept another situation/opportunity from the entity within one year of the initial contact between parties then Hands to Hold's fee becomes due. Had it not been for the services provided by Hands to Hold at the initial contact between parties by establishing the relationship between the entity and the adoptive family, the entity would not have known about the adoptive family and the adoptive family would not have known about the expectant/birth parent(s) situation/opportunity. Our Promise: At Hands to Holds, our promise to prospective adoptive families is that we will conduct business in a professional manner in order to preserve the integrity and confidentiality of information provided by all parties involved. Hands to Hold can not guarantee that every one who registers with our service will find those little hands to hold. But we will work very hard on your behalf to assist you in your search for them. Building or expanding families through adoption is one of the most cherished gifts an expectant/birth parent(s) can give their child and it is the most treasured, inspirational gift of an adoptive family. We are adoptive parents who have traveled on our own adoption journey which ended with our own precious little hands to hold. Each adoption journey will have it's own path for which each of you will travel but the final destination is reaching out to hold the littlest of hands, the hands of a child, the hands of an inspirational treasure.
